​What is a Playcafe?

A play cafe is a family-friendly space where everyone can enjoy beverages and snacks while children engage in play activities. It's a blend of a cafe and an indoor play area. We have lots of comfortable seating for guardians to relax, enjoy refreshments, and keep an eye on their children.

What age is the play space for?

The Lagoon play space is geared toward children 6 months to 6 years old, though younger and older children are allowed to play! We require children over 48 inches to use walking fins during play. Children ages 0-12 may play.

Can we leave our shoes on?

We ask that everyone remove their shoes if they enter onto our play floor. This rule is for adults and children alike.  We require grip socks.

What is our party room cancellation policy?

The deposits for events and birthdays are non-refundable. By making a purchase, you acknowledge that your payment secures a reservation, and as such, reservations for these occasions are non-refundable. Any modifications to events and parties are not permitted after a 10-day period, during which the full payment is collected and also becomes non-refundable.

How much do I pay to play?

We charge for children 12 and younger.  Adults are always free. Children are $7.00 on Tuesday-Thursday, and $10.00 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If your infant does not play you are not required to play. This applies to children 6 month and younger only.

​Can we bring in our own drinks, food, or snacks?

We sell a variety of drinks, food, and snacks. Because of this we do not allow any outside food or drink.  The only exception is that we allow infant (18 months and under) bottles, milk, or food, and food needed due to special medical needs for children. We are a peanut free facility!

​What are the perks of getting a membership? 

The biggest benefit is that you only pay $25 (or less) per child per month for unlimited play. Members will also be the first to be able to sign up for our special events throughout the year.  These events have limited space, and are extremely popular!  The first Tuesday of the month each membership is allowed one free drink! Other membership discounts may apply throughout the year.

​We want to celebrate a joint birthday, is this allowed? 

Yes! We allow guests to celebrate as many children as you would like when you book the private party room.  The fee will not change.  However, we do ask that only one theme is chosen for the room during the party.  Please let us know if you plan to do this so we can make all of the birthday children feel equally as spe-shell. 

​Can I drop my child off, or do I need to stay? 

We require that all children of any age are accompanied by an adult at all times unless enrolled and participating in our date night child care program (Lagoon Under the Moon: coming soon).  During Playcafe hours children must be supervised by their adult.

​What is your security policy?

Your family’s safety and security are our highest priorities. Adults must be accompanied by a child, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults unaccompanied by children are not allowed past our check in area (the bubble gate). Staff are always here to assist you but please be advised that parent and caregiver supervision of one's own children is expected at all times.  

​Who must sign a waiver?

All adults and children must have a play waiver on file to enter past our check in area.

​Can I celebrate a party/birthday without booking the private room? 

Absolutely! We have cupcakes for sale in the cafe with complementary candles and matches! Keep in mind we don't allow anyone to save tables, or move tables in the cafe area. We also do not allow outside toys (including presents) onto the play floor, you may keep these at your table. We never allow outside toys, decorations, balloons, or food--unless for a small infant, or due to medical needs. We are a peanut free facility.  

​Can I bring my dog into the Playcafe? ​

Unfortunately, dogs do not belong under the sea. Please refrain from bringing your furry friend into our facility. Service animals with proper identification are allowed--NOT just a service vest. Service animals must always check in at the front desk and show the proper identification.
